Information on the processing of the personal data of Voigt’s employees or associates – contact persons

 

In the course its business, Voigt obtains personal data of employees, associates or designated contact persons of our existing or prospective contractors (e.g. distributors, shops, recipients of our products and services, and suppliers). We make every effort to fulfil the information obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in respect of the above-mentioned persons. However, sometimes providing such information is not possible or would involve an unreasonable amount of effort. Therefore, below we publicly disclose information on the processing of personal data of employees, associates or designated contact persons of Voigt’s existing or prospective contractors.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing:

Depending on the nature of your business relationship with us, your data will be processed:

  • for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller, i.e. conclusion and performance of a contract entered into by Voigt and the entity in which you are employed or act as an authorised representative;
  • in order to present offers, receive orders, send invitations to participate in training and perform other activities in the area of direct marketing of our products and services; the legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest consisting in the possibility of marketing, providing customers with information about our products and services, and maintaining ongoing contact with our contractors;
  • in order to make or defend against claims; the legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest consisting in defending against or pursuing claims. Your data will be processed for marketing purposes, including analytics and profiling, based on your consent.

 

Recipient of personal data

The controller will transfer your personal data to entities processing data on behalf of the controller, such as IT system providers, and such entities process personal data based on a data processing agreement concluded with and only as instructed by the controller. The controller will not transfer your data to any other entities.

 

Transfer of personal data outside the EEA

Your personal data may be transferred outside the EEA to IFS World Operations, Sri Lanka branch. Sri Lanka has not been recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection of personal data. Therefore, personal data is transferred to FS World Operations, Sri Lanka branch, based on standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Your personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent to continued processing or until the expiry of claims under a contract, or until a legal obligation to store data expires, in particular the obligation to store accounting records, or where there is a new legal basis (e.g. a legal provision or the need to enforce claims in court proceedings).

For marketing purposes, providing data is voluntary. The provision of personal data is mandatory for the conclusion and performance of a contract.

PPUH VOIGT sp. z o.o. uses cookies to monitor traffic on the website www.voigt.pl. A cookie is a text file saved to the disk of the computer through which you access the website. A cookie only contains an encrypted ID of your computer system. Cookies do not allow us to identify anyone visiting our website and do not contain any information which would enable us to do so. According to Article 173 of the Telecommunications Law Act of 16 July 2004, it is permitted to save text files to the computer of a user visiting a website if the user has been informed about it. We undertake to regularly review this Privacy Policy and revise it whenever required or reasonable due to: new laws or guidelines from authorities responsible for the supervision of personal data protection processes, best practices in personal data protection (Codes of Good Practice, where the Controller is bound by such Codes, of which we will inform you as appropriate). We also reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy in response to changes in the technology which we use to process personal data (insofar as such change affects the wording of this document), and in the event of changes in the methods, purposes or legal grounds for the processing of personal data by us.
